Good to know

***Community Swimming Pool right down the lane open till Labor Day. Just updated with brand new memory foam mattresses and Bear Themed comforters and New easy to open Hot Tub cover*** Perched on a hillside in Pigeon Forge, the vacation rentals in Covered Bridge Resort overlook the scenic Wears Valley area. A vacation in the Smokies is all about fun, so every Covered Bridge Resort cabin includes a game room with a pool table and video arcade games. Foosball available in loft with sofa sleeper, as well. When it’s time to relax, soak in your private hot tub as you soak up the views from the deck of your Pigeon Forge cabin. The master bedroom also offers an en suite jetted tub if you’d like to relax in even more privacy. When you’re refreshed and ready for your next adventure, head to The Parkway in downtown Pigeon Forge for some of the most popular attractions in the Smoky Mountains. There’s shopping, dining, and amusements at The Island, family-friendly laughs at The Comedy Barn, and dinner theater shows like Dolly Parton’s Stampede and The Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud. Plenty more fun awaits in nearby Gatlinburg, like Hillbilly Golf, mountain coasters, scenic chairlift rides, and Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. When it comes to location, Black Bear cabin is perfect. The 4 bedroom log cabin is in the Covered Bridge Resort, just five minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the town’s main thoroughfare. When you stay here, you can quickly and easily get to just about every attraction the area has to offer, from Dollywood to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, from dinner theaters to golf. Yet the resort is so peaceful and beautiful, you can easily forget just how close to the action you are. Black Bear cabin has, even more, going for it than a convenient, restful locale. The two-story cabin with basement is an outstanding combination of comfort and rustic charm, with spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains tossed into the mix. The main floor’s huge wraparound deck is ideal for admiring the views, savoring the fresh mountain air, and listening to the birds singing in the sunshine. Sip your morning juice or coffee on one of the deck’s rockers; enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining table; stargaze late at night from the deck swing. And any time of day or night is perfect for luxuriating in the deck’s private rear side hot tub, though it’s especially restorative after a day spent hiking, rafting, biking, or fishing. The cabin’s interior is just as relaxing and welcoming as its deck, with wood-planked floors, walls, and ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of windows to bring the outdoors in. There’s loads of seating in the living area for everyone to gather together to watch the big game on the flat-panel TV or play a game. In winter the stone-surround fireplace, located between the living and dining areas, will make the space even more charming than it already is. As well as being near attractions, the cabin is close to markets—a good thing, because once you see the large, fabulously equipped kitchen, you’ll want to cook at least some of your meals here rather than dine out all the time. Stainless-steel appliances, cookware, tableware, plenty of counter space, a dishwasher to make cleanup a snap: The kitchen has it all. After dinner or any other time, really you can head downstairs to the game room to challenge the others to a game on the pool table. The upstairs is home to the primary suite, which is a haven unto itself. The elegance of the furnishings and a king-size bed with private electric fireplace complements the rustic refinement of the beamed ceiling and planked walls. In addition to a flat-panel TV, the room has a truly pampering jetted whirlpool tub as well. We have a King size bed room on the ground level for folks not wanting to climb up or down the stairs in close proximity to the main level bathroom. The other two bedrooms are in the basement. One is furnished with a king size bed and the other a bunk bed with full size on the bottom and twin size on top. Each has its own flat-panel TV and is decorated in the same serene, inviting style as the rest of the cabin. These basement bedrooms share the cabin’s third full bathroom. Have additional guests? The loft room’s sofa opens into a queen-size sleeper , as does the basement sofa so the cabin can sleep twelve people in all. Among the cabin’s other amenities are free WiFi, a charcoal grill, and a washer and dryer (for once you can return home from vacation with a suitcase full of clean clothes!). A kid friendly community pool is steps away from the cabin giving the kids and adults time to cool down after a long day hiking or sight-seeing. Gorgeous views, a restful location that’s also close to the area’s attractions, amenities ranging from a hot tub to a fully equipped kitchen: Black Bear has everything you need to enjoy your best vacation yet. Book your stay today; we can’t wait to host you and help make memories!!!
